my fave movie is blade runner so i’m not trashin the gems you’ve listed but
a girl lead isn’t always automatically a strong female lead; labyrinth at least has her tell the goblin king to fuck right off, but elm st is questionable at best

idk it comes out a few years after my time, but they have it in the movie store here, and i remember them announcing it being in progress and fanboys flipping their collective shit about how it would ruin ghostbusters to do an all female remake
but uh that shit sounds TIGHT to me so

That's stupid. The first movies already exist and are still awesome. It's not like they're going anywhere.

I wanna see it! I guess I won't recognize any actresses if they're from the future huh?

it's okay we'll just have to watch a ton of movies and you'll get to know all of them eventually
that would be real fucking cool tho. seeing chicks in stem fields woulda done wonders for my confidence as a kid.
